Vanessa De Luca
Phd in Industrial Design and Multimedia Communication at the Politecnico di Milano with a doctoral thesis on the relationship between game design and interaction design. In her design activity she was involved on serious games, multimedia services and web projects. She worked at the Design Faculty of Politecnico di Milano as teaching Assistant of the Computer Graphic Lab and Concept Design Lab, tutor of the workshop in Digital Animation and Scenarios Building. Currently she is part of the Interaction Design Lab at SUPSI as researcher junior. Her interests includes game design, fun theory, multimedia and interaction design, digital services, prototyping methods and co-design processes. Contact
Serena Cangiano
After graduating in Communication Sciences, Serena Cangiano specialized in new media and interactive technologies for the communication of arts and the cultural heritage at the University of Lugano. She worked in projects related to the communication of virtual archaeology, interactive art documentation and web service design. Currently, she works at the Laboratorio Cultura Visiva of SUPSI as researcher and assistant at the Interaction Design Lab. Irina Suteu
Graduated with a BFA from Concordia University where she studied Design Arts. She worked as a free-lance furniture designer in Milan and participated and won several awards in international architecture and design competitions working along with arch. Stefan Davidovici (www.isdstudio.com). In 2006 graduated with a MA from the interaction design program at the Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. From 2007 she is a PhD candidate at the Politecnico di Milano. Her research studies the dynamics of the multicultural work groups focusing on the design of interactive services. She published and presented several articles on the subject of digital service design, mobile communication and interdisciplinary collaboration at various international conferences. Contact
